Feeling as though life is perfect,
Radiant in color as the sun shines
Feeling the coolness strike it,
Starting to fall apart
Harder and harder to hold on,
Felt that it's life was together,
Going on the way it was
Beauty and color only lasted a time,
Everything it thought it should be,
Thinking that's all that mattered
Just before Winter sets in,
What it once was,
It was, no more
Finally realizing there's more to life,
Wanting to change what what it had become
Spring had arrived,
With warmth in the air
A brand new leaf had just appeared,
The old was gone,
A new one had formed
With a brand new shine,
Like never before
A tree stands so tall,
With its new leaf,
A leaf that is more,
Than it ever thought it could be
Where are you at today in life? Are you like a Leaf that is barely hanging on while going through difficult times? God can pull you though. Maybe you've never excepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. You can do that today, it is a simple prayer but comes with a powerful King who is on your side. Ask God to come into your heart, into your life. Why fight your battles alone, when you can have God on your side to help you walk through them.
